The Oceanside boys and girls track teams had a productive week against Mission Hills in dual meet action Thursday and again Saturday at the Long Beach Relays.
The boys team outlasted Mission Hils 75-57 with balanced team effort. Chris Hunter led the team with two personal bests in the shot put (45-8) and discuss (140-11). Injuries hampered girls team in a 66-56 loss to the Grizzlies. Isana Hampton scored a pair of victories in the long and triple jumps.
At the Long Beach Relays at Wilson High, the Pirates earned 59 medals, including 22 gold. Elon Osinowo earned four gold medals including personal bests in the long jump (21-3 1/2) and 100 meters (11.62). Anabel Ojeda broke the meet record in the 3200 (11:53) in a wire-to-wire victory.
